Project:
At this point, you should be making progress on the individual software components ("units") of your project.
You should be targeting completion of your "units" (including unit tests) for roughly next week.
Then, you should spend the rest of the quarter working on integrating your components.
All code must be turned in by 5:45pm on Monday, November 11. I will provide instructions on how to turn in your code the week before it is due.
There is no requirement that you turn in any code before Monday, November 11 at 5:45pm.
Quote for you:Perfect is the enemy of done.
You can always improve software! But what's good enough
for our purposes may not be the perfect software application. Keep that in mind as you work.
Remember, we will have presentations (10 minutes per student) during week 10 (November 12). If you are remote and unable to join the class to present, you may also meet with me prior to that date to present your project. You must be able to talk about why you chose each data structure, and what alternatives you could have chosen but why the choices you made made sense.
Ask questions in Discord or by email! I am happy to meet with you during office hours if you are stuck, or if you want to talk about your project for any reason, even if you simply want to bounce ideas off of me.
