CSC403: Homework: Term Project

Code AND presentations are due next week!

• Refer to the Term Project assignment for details on how your work on the project will be evaluated.

• Your code is due by 5:45pm on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

• You have two options to submit your code and documentation:

  1. Zip File: Upload a zip file with your source code and documentation to the appropriate folder in D2L.

  2. Github or Bitbucket: Upload a text file to the appropriate folder in D2L containing the following:
     • A link to your Github or Bitbucket repository.

     • The commit hash you want me to grade.

       You can find the commit hash by executing the command git log.

       Warning: Do not force commit or rewrite commit history in any way. If the commit hash you provided does not exist, I will not be able to grade your submission.

Presentation Details:

• You must prepare a (maximum) 10-minute presentation to showcase your term project. Presentations will be given in class next week, Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

• If you are not attending class in-person or live on Zoom, please send me a message on Discord so you can schedule a time with me to do your presentation. You must do your presentation before the end of classes for the quarter. I will be traveling on Tuesday, June 3, but I can meet with you Monday, Thursday, or Friday next week.

• Your presentation should include a demo of the software application you built and provide a tour of the code.

• You should be prepared to discuss the data structures you chose for your project, why you chose them, and have a working knowledge of their performance characteristics. You should also be ready to explain why you chose a particular data structure over another.

• Leave a few minutes for questions at the end of your presentation. I will probably have some for you!
